China appears to be the new centre of the beauty pageant universe. A day after the conclusion of the Miss International pageant in Chengdu, the Miss Model of the World pageant ended in Shenzhen. The pageant was won by Miss France, with Miss Turkey in second and Miss Ukraine in third.South Africa was represented by former Teen Miss World, Charlotte Smith. Back in 2006, she placed in the Top 10 at this pageant as a blonde. This time around, as a brunette, she failed to make the Top 10. No luck second time around.
