10 contestants were specially selected to participate in the Culture Forum organised by the Jie Fang Daily. The contestants were from Australia, Botswana, China, Egypt, England, Netherlands, St Lucia, South Africa, United States and Venezuela. The forum addressed many important issues concerning today’s multicultural society.It remains to be seen if these 10 contestants were random selections, whether they were chosen for specific socio-political reasons, or if they are on JM's short-list of potential winners?
