Elizabeth Taylor Passed away due to congestive heart failure

According to CNN, legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor passed away at the age of 79 in the morning of March 23, 2011. She has been hospitalized since mid-February with symptoms of congestive heart failure.

Taylor was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2004. In 2009, she had surgery to replace a leaky valve, and since then has continued to make occasional public statements. A two-time Oscar winner, Taylor will be remembered for such films as Cleopatra and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
