Due to popular demand, a Miss Teen Surf pageant will be held at 11am on Saturday 16 April in the Charles Morkel Hall, Strand. All entrants will be required to compete in a swimwear and an evening wear parade. The Miss Teen Surf pageant takes place on the same day as the Mr & Miss Surf SA pageant. The senior pageant will be held at 8pm.The same rules apply for Miss Teen Surf as they do for Miss Surf, except that the pageant is open to all young ladies aged 15 to 17 on the day of the pageant. A height rule of 1,60m applies for the teen pageant. Prospective entrants need to be at the venue by 09:30 for registration.
Whilst there is no entry fee, entrants are encouraged to bring along as many supporters as possible. The audience vote counts 33.3% of the final score. Admission costs R50 and there will be a lucky prize draw for a member of the audience.
You can download an entry form here. Please ensure that you bring along an A4 size full-length swimsuit photograph of yourself with you. The photographs will be placed in a gallery in the foyer to enable audience members to cast their vote for the Top 3.
Prizes worth R5,000 can be won.
