Mianette Broekman was crowned Miss World New Zealand 2011 at the national finale held at the Tasmania Ballroom of the Alexandria Park Function Centre in Auckland on April 30, 2011. Broekman is 22 year old and will represent New Zealand in Miss World 2011. Broekman is a graduate of political science from the University of Auckland and currently in her 2nd year of law. She is South African and has been living in New Zealand for nine years.
The finalists will represent New Zealand in Miss International, Miss Tourism Queen, Miss SuperNational and Miss Earth 2011. According to the Times of Beauty, Alexandra Grace-Scott and Claire Kirby completed the Top 3. Kirby will go to Miss International 2011 in Chengdu, China. We will update the news soon.
